In February we had a nice time at another wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It was labeled as black tie, of course, but in reality was only formal, so we could match. I wish I had know that it was more informal than stated on the invitation so I could have worn my champagne Philip Lim dress that I have been dying to wear. Since it has sleeves & would be perfectly styled with opaque black tights, it would have been great for a Feb wedding in LA.
I did not change for this wedding, and wore a lovely chiffon BCBG dress. I thought that changing between the aghd and the reception was so 2004, but a few people from the groom's family did.
There were so many beautiful and unique dresses, I wish I had taken clandestine pictures, and lots of amazing jewels.
